Quotes & Estimates
Can I get an estimate emailed to me for my records?
- Yes, Emerald Carpets’ account managers and/or customer sales team can provide an estimate(s) for any standard or custom booths.
Is it necessary to have an estimate or quote prior to placing an order?
- No, if you are ordering standard styles and standard stocking colors you can just place an order. Our customer service team will then send you an order confirmation with the total charges that will be invoiced.
Custom Colors
Can I get a custom color sample for my client to approve?
- Yes, client should receive a sample for approval purposes within three days of request date.
- PMS numbers work best or if a client has a sample to match to that can be sent to us. Please indicate whether the PMS color is a “c” or “u” color.
- CMYK – we cannot match to CMYK numbers.
Is there a minimum order size for a custom color?
- There is no minimum size order, however, custom charges and extra carpet may be shipped depending on the size of the order. If you need a 10′ x 10′ then place the order for that amount. (You do not need to figure in extra carpet to be safe. Emerald will do that on the manufacturing end)
- Orders less than 10’x 500′ per color are subject to a minimum $800 dye charge.
- Emerald Carpets will dye extra carpet on a custom dye to guarantee you get the minimum amount needed to cover your booth. GES will be responsible for the additional carpet. Typically the overage is 25′ to 5% over the needed amount depending on the size of the order.
Freight & Deliveries
Where does the carpet ship from?
- Dalton, GA – The majority of orders will ship from our manufacturing facilities in Dalton, GA
- Las Vegas, NV – Emerald Carpets does stock a limited supply of the better selling colors in our Las Vegas Distribution Center.
Can you make deliveries to show site?
- The preferred delivery method is to a GES location or to and advance freight location.
- Show site or event site deliveries can be lined up, however, these tend to be very expensive compared to an advanced freight delivery. Emerald contracts expedited carriers for these deliveries. Wait time and additional fees may be charged to GES after the deliveries have been made.
Does Emerald Carpets handle the logistics?
- Yes, Emerald prefers to handle the logistics. We work with multiple carriers that have a track record of being able to handle rolled goods properly.
- GES is welcome to line up logistics if necessary.
Does Emerald Carpets palletize or crate carpet and pad shipments?
- Emerald does not currently palletize carpet and pad shipments. The additional cost in freight, custom pallets and the labor to palletize the rolled goods tends to be more expensive than the charges for un-skidded material that the General Contractor’s charge.
Can I get a proof of delivery on my order?
- When requested, Emerald Carpets, will request a POD from the carrier. Many carriers can take as much as a week delay to get this information.
Custom Inlays
What is the lead time for a custom inlay?
- East Coast – inlays can be produced in three weeks once the client has signed the artwork approval.
- Custom colors can add a week to this time line.
- West Coast – inlays can be produced in four weeks once the client has signed the artwork approval. The additional week is for the transit time to the West Coast (Las Vegas is considered West Coast)
- Custom colors can add a week to this time line.
Installation
Does Emerald provide show site installation?
- No – Emerald does not provide labor at show site.
